First and foremost, thank you so much for all the kind posts yesterday in regards to my commuting adventure. It has really meant a lot to read all the support and well wishes. They are calling for more snow on Monday night/Tuesday morning and I can assure you I won’t be driving in it.

So let me share some pictures I took the other night of “The Brothers”, that is what I call our two cats (and yes they really are brothers).

I rarely post about them, not because I don’t love them but because they really don’t do anything crazy like the dogs, well except race around the house all night jumping from place to place waking everyone up and causing the dogs to get all hyper, and then there is the fact that I can knit all new cats out the amount of fur those two shed. I swear they shed a new coat on a daily basis so that the inside of our home looks much like it looks outside these days, oh yea they do like to hide from the dogs and then dart out as the dogs cross their paths, and lets not forget the cuddle factor. These two are sleep cuddlers and they are heavy sleep cuddlers, when they fall asleep it is like dead weight and you can’t roll over or move or anything and they are certainly have the sound sleep thing down, they are impossible to wake up so you are stuck under the blankets unable to move because of them LOL..

So actually, there are many stories I could tell about “The Brothers” but today, lets just start with a reminder of how cute they both are. Piper is on the far left with the black freckle under his nose, Ripley on the far right. It is hard to see in this photo but Piper weighs at least 6 pounds more than Ripley, maybe even more.
